![]() ![]() The game allows both first person and third person perspective. It really just asks the player to drive around until they feel relaxed. In the Driving Seatīus Simulator 21 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of a tutorial. ![]() The game is set in Europe, so if you live in the UK this may feel like learning to drive all over again as driving is accurate to rules of road everywhere but for those of us in Blighty who drive on the left. Whoever designed that has clearly never driven in heels because there would quickly be no bus to drive – but it’s good for the aesthetic, I guess. Weirdly, it does give you the option to wear heels. There are minimal options but the game allows you to choose hair colour, uniform, and general look. I'm playing OMSI with Vulkan, it's more stable, only issue is I can't drive at night because tiles will stop loading. To start, Bus Simulator 21 allows you to customise your bus driver. Just tried BS2021 and they didn't fix anything what I mentioned one year ago. And later you can purchase american brand bus. And at the start you can select Setra, MAN or MB - again european buses on american map. Imagine what devs did there, put european buses on american map, very real from the start. It has excellent bus physics, true-to-life 1.1 scale maps, real-world weather, excellent bus sounds recorded (in most cases), from their real counterparts and a plethora of freeware mods helping to keep OMSI alive with a really large fanbase. OMSI, ten years old now and is worthy of being a simulator. Graphics are pleasant though but that's about it. The maps are fictional and roads are ridiculously wide, there are no narrow roads giving you any sort of challenge. I agree that the simulation in BS21, like its predecessors, is more in the management side of things because of the careful route planning, purchasing of buses and keeping your company afloat.Īs for the driving physics, forget it.it's arcade in nature. You didn’t read this carefully as I know all of this. VDL and IVECO are licensed DLC buses as well. but it not arcade as route management gets very sim later its not drive were we tell you on this fixed lay out its build the routes and earn Originally posted by GraphiteGB:Many games that claim to be sim never are. There also contracted in for the reworked android and switch titles. Mercs were contracted licensed buses as far back as bus sim 16. There are plenty playing it just fine you tubes full of late mission gameplay. You are penalised for failure by default and its 20K per person sent to hospital. And buses with correct engine class for the district. They can't call it arcade as there's to much management of routes and getting the correct bus. The game dropped hiring staff from BS18 and focused on route design only. quitting before the first auto save will do that. They allow arcade mode driving as an option you can turn off a lot of stuff to make it more aecade but the management of 100 buses will not really ever allow this game to be arcade.Īuto save is not set to trigger on learner missions, but they're so short you're not meant to have given up so quick on them. Sim should be a warning that youll have to think and that is not pure arcade. Ive parked trucks on train tracks and nothing happens when hit by the train. ![]() Ive driven off 200-foot drops in farm sim and the licensed product does not have a single dent. None normally will allow damage model or complete failure as the licensed brands won't allow it. Many games that claim to be sim never are.
